•I Develope My Art Making Skills
- I developed my art making skills with this project in the transparency or the doughnut box it helps you with the highlights the the plastic and also the distortion of what's behind the plastic. I also developed by blending skills in the counter top back ground, and also in the highlights on the doughnuts. •I Take Risks - I took risks with this project in the background, I have never blended or have drawn a countertop before so the experience to me was new and I didn't k ow how it would turn out. I also took risks in the details in the box because they were difficult to do. •I Reflect - I reflect on this project and think how badly it could've gone and how lucky i am that it turned out as good as it did. This project was very challenging and I was constantly making improvements and edititjng this piece. I think it turned out pretty good and I am proud of it. This is my candy drawing. I found this project a little more difficult than the eggs because I use pastel pencils instead of chalk and it made it very difficult to blend and add the white into some folds of the wrapper. Looking back I wished I used chalk pastel instead of pencils and I think it would of turned out better.
This is my final egg drawing. These eggs didn't turn out as good as I hoped due to time restrictions. The overall shape of the egos what I would've concentrated on and also the shadow. For completing it under a hour I think it turned out good and the medium use is chalk pastel.
This is my dum dum drawing. This drawing to me was pretty easy because projects we have done in the past have prepared me like the drawing of the sheet and also most of all drawings with the shadin within the folds. I hunk this turned out very good hopes u like it.
This is my final drawing for the perspective project.
• I Take Risks - I take risks with this project in the texture and shape of the wave. Water can be very hard to draw to get the texture and value right of the water and add the right amount of shading in the right areas, it is very easy to add not enough value and have all your water look the same color this is why I take risks. •I Reflect - I reflected in this project about half way through. I chose to reflect because I didn't know what it really needed but I stepped back and looked at my drawing and all the shading of the water was the same shade almost and it was hard to tell depth of the drawing. I added some dark streaks in the face of the wave and also some darker shading outside of the wave. I also added a shadow below the surfboard and the water around the surfboard is also darker. •I Communicate Through My Work -I communicate through my work by showing my interests. Growing up at the beach my interests include almost anything that has do to with the ocean, when I heard about this project this was the first idea that has came to mind. I learned how to surf at a young age and I always enjoyed it so this project is on that I will probably enjoy the most because I get to display my interests. The first picture of the two is my sketch of my final price and the second picture is of my brainstorming page and my 2 by 3 sketches. This picture is of my in progress of my final piece. What is missing in this photo is some shading in the wave and adding value inside and outside the wave.
